1 -What’s Working Now
Most of us know the 80/20 rule. It states that 20 percent of your efforts produce 80 percent of your results.
It is a great principle for finding your best traffic sources. But stopping there is a mistake I made for a long time.
I was applying it to my marketing, but my daily effort was completely scattered. I was spending hours on tasks that were just busy work.
So, I took a hard look at where my time was actually going. I evaluated what I should do again, and what I should do differently.
When I applied the 80/20 rule to my own effort, the scattered feeling vanished.
Run an audit on your own to-do list this week to find the 20 percent that truly matters.
2 - Digital Marketing That Converts
In marketing, the 80/20 rule is a great filter for your strategy. A few simple, clear steps will always outperform a dozen complex funnels.
It’s not uncommon to find that 20% of your content or social posts create 80% of the results.
In fact, there is growing evidence that one page selling systems are more effective if you sell lower ticket (under $50) products.
More to come on that.
This can be applied to your choice of platforms as well.
Instead of trying to be on every social media platform, find the platforms that actually bring in readers and buyers and lean in to them.
Do more of what is already working for you, and give yourself permission to drop the rest.
2 - AI Made Easy
One of the best ways to apply this rule is by letting AI handle the 80 percent of tasks that are repetitive.
I use AI to help brainstorm outlines, format text, and clean up code. It frees me up to focus on the 20 percent that requires a human touch.
You don't need to master every new tool. Just find one or two that save you time, and ignore the noise.
Keep it simple and fun.
Because having fun while you are working is a beautiful thing indeed!
I hope we talk soon,
