Over the last few days, I've been taking a hard look at my own business, doing a bit of early-summer "cleaning" as we move into June.
If you've been with me for a while, you know my core philosophy: Keep it simple, stay debt-free, and build an automated business.
But sometimes, even with the best intentions, we let things get complicated. We add another tool, another social channel, another "must-do" daily task. Before you know it, you are working for your business instead of your business working for you.
What's working best for me right now—and what is working best for my most successful clients—is deliberately stripping away that noise.
It is about removing the daily grind and focusing only on digital assets that you build once, but that serve you for years.
That is the true secret to buying back your time.
I want to show you exactly how to apply this "less is more" philosophy to something many of you do every day: affiliate marketing.
If you want to stop hustling for clicks that don’t convert and instead start building a real asset, let's dive in.
2 - Supercharged Affiliate Marketing
Stand out from the crowd with this one simple move
If you are an affiliate marketer, you know the following is true:
1 - You need consistent traffic to see your offers.
2 - Trying to stand out by posting raw affiliate links on social media is exhausting and rarely works.
3 - Paid ads can eat up your commissions before you ever make a sale!
The old way of affiliate marketing was straightforward but deeply flawed.
You would find a great product, grab your affiliate link, and hustle to get clicks—either by grinding away on social channels or paying out of pocket for traffic.
The fatal flaw with the old way? If the prospect didn't buy immediately, they were gone forever. You spent your time and money building the vendor's business, not your own.
The new way changes the game entirely, and you don't need a massive budget to do it.
Instead of sending traffic straight to a vendor's sales page, you simply place a landing page in between.
Here is how to make the shift:
Grab the link for the affiliate product you want to promote.
Give that link to an AI platform like Lovable and have it build a clean, high-converting landing page.
Collect the person’s email address on that page before passing them on to the affiliate offer.
By making this one small change, you capture the lead.
You are now building YOUR list!
If they buy today, that is wonderful. If they don't, you can email them tomorrow, next week, and next month without spending a single dime on new advertising.
In fact, you can (and really should) create a series of emails that go out automatically.
When I was a serious affiliate marketers (Clickbank Platinum for 5 straight years) my email follow up system was 380 messages long.
It worked then and works just as well now.
You build the page once, but you build an asset that allows you to profit forever.
2 - AI Made Easy - The Perfect Hook Prompt
You can have the cleanest, most professional landing page in the world, but if your "hook" (the main headline) doesn't grab your reader's attention instantly, they will click away.
Writing great hooks used to take years of copywriting practice. Now, AI can do the heavy lifting for you. (By the way, I am checking on a free hook generator tool I might be able to share with you soon—stay tuned!)
In the meantime, if you are setting up that landing page we talked about above, use this simple prompt to get the perfect headline:
The Prompt:
"I am building a landing page to promote an affiliate product that helps [Target Audience] solve [Specific Problem]. Act as an expert direct response copywriter and give me 5 short, punchy, curiosity-driven headlines. The goal of the headline is to get the visitor to enter their email address to learn the solution."
How to use it:
Just copy and paste that into ChatGPT or Claude, fill in the brackets, and you will have high-converting hooks in seconds. Pick your favorite, drop it at the top of your Lovable page, and you are ready to go!
