After 26 years in the online marketing business, I've watched the marketing world get louder, more confusing, and frankly... less credible.
It seems like everyone's chasing the latest "hack" or "secret." I get wanting results now but there is no hack that bypasses real work and common sense.
Too many today are building on rented land or relying on platforms that can shut down their account for no good reason.
We must never forget that business is about serving people, not tricking them.
I started online by writing newsletters for publishers. Then I worked for the founder of the Directory of Ezines. Then I bought her company.
Somewhere along the way I stopped publishing my own email newsletter.
Have you ever tried something, had it work, and then stopped doing it?
Painful, right? We’ve all been there. :-)
Today I’m going “back to the future” and reestablishing my own newsletter.
This newsletter exists to give you a better alternative. One built on my 26 years of experience in digital marketing.
I will openly share what works and what doesn’t work.
Nothing held back. No teasing a solution and leaving out the how to do it. No reader question left unaswered.
My wife and I started online with $13 in the bank. Today we run a digital marketing business serving tens of thousands of customers.
No investors. No partners. Just hard work and learning from our mistakes.
We’re not perfect but we are very real and we want YOU to succeed online.

2 - Digital Marketing That Converts
Focus on the 80/20 rule of marketing.
80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. Most entrepreneurs scatter their energy across dozen of tactics and wonder why nothing works.
Pick ONE thing. Master it. Then move to the next.
Your email list? That's your 20%. That’s what will build your business.
Social media followers come and go.
Algorithms change.
Platforms disappear.
But the people on your email list?
They chose to hear from you directly. They are your core audience. They will buy from you (and that’s a good thing) but even better they will be honest with you.
They will tell you what they like AND tell you when you mess up.
And we all mess it up sometimes.
Your list is your core. Everything else is just rented land.
3 - AI Made Easy
I see people jumping from ChatGPT to Claude to Manus to whatever's new this week.
They rarely get good results from any of them.
As a early adopter of a AI, and the owner of an AI platform, here’s my advice …
Pick one and stick with it for 2 weeks. Not 2 months or years. Just 2 weeks will do it.
Learn its strengths. Understand its limitations. Create systems around it.
In those two weeks the AI will learn what you want and begin giving you better and better results.
Master one tool completely, and you'll get better results than someone using ten tools poorly.
